A free public talk and meditation program. Instructions in meditation are provided.
Janaki Pierson, co-founder and executive director of the Woodbury Meditation & Yoga Center (WMYC), recently returned from nearly 2 months in India. Following her Ayurvedic experience, she participated in a weeks-long international gathering reciting prayers and yogic mantras for world peace, and will tell stories from this event as well.
Ms. Pierson presents seminars on Hatha Yoga, Meditation, Stress Management, Death and Dying/Life and Living, Elementary Sanskrit, and Thinking into Being: Creating Your Own Reality. Ms. Pierson has been teaching meditation for over 35 years and has been established in her own daily practice for over 40 years.
