HOW TO REGISTER

To register for all classes and workshops:

Print out and complete the Registration Form (one form per class).
Check the box for the location of classes you want.
Mail the Registration Form and your check or credit card information for the entire amount as soon as possible.
Checks must be RECEIVED by the early registration deadline to qualify for the early registration discount.
Written or phone registration prior to the date class begins is mandatory!
Refunds or credits for future classes cannot be given for classes missed.

About Early Registration
WYC offers early registration discounts for payment RECEIVED in advance of classes. Early registration helps us to administer classes and helps the instructors spend less time on administration and more time teaching.

We prefer written registration with appropriate payment, in advance of class.
Telephone registration is also fine, preferably before the class begins.

We ask that if you plan to take the early registration discount, please send your Registration Form and payment to be RECEIVED by the early registration deadline. >We particularly appreciate those who respect the early registration deadline and, when missed, include the full class fee amount in the check.

DISCOUNTS, REFUNDS, ETC.
Hatha Yoga Second Class Discount

When you take more than one Hatha Yoga class through WYC during the same class cycle, each additional class is $10 off once you have paid for the first class, regardless of location.

Free Meditation - FOREVER
Reminder: Once you've paid for one Foundations of Meditation class, you can take it again for free – FOREVER!

Refunds/Credits
With over 30 classes to choose from, students are encouraged to take "make-ups" in other classes for classes missed WITHIN THE SAME SEVEN-WEEK CLASS SERIES. All WYC classes, including satellite locations, are available for make-ups, except for the few classes that are closed due to full registration. Classes closed to make-ups for this reason are identified on our answering machine. In rare circumstances, a student may carry-over "make-ups" from one series to the next, ONLY WHEN SHE/HE REGISTERS FOR THE NEW SERIES. There are no credits or refunds for classes missed.

I Can't Afford It Discount
We want yoga to be accessible to everyone. If you truly can't afford our classes, we're happy to offer you our "can't afford it" discount. Just call and ask about it. This also applies to families with more than one member attending classes.

WINTER SNOW POLICY
If the winter winds do blow…

Please do not, under any circumstances, drive in unsafe weather conditions, even if a class here has not been canceled. Rest assured that you will be able to make up a class at another time.

Classes canceled due to weather will be by extended one week whenever possible. Otherwise, with over 30 classes to choose from, it is assumed students can take a make-up in one of the other scheduled classes.

Announcement of cancellation of classes will be on WLAD am, WTIC fm radio, and television channels 8 and 3. Whenever possible, cancellations will also be on the WYC answering machine (203) 263-2254), at least 90 minutes prior to class time, but not necessarily earlier. Feel free to call us and advise us of the weather conditions in your area to help us determine the need for cancellation. Weather varies widely in various parts of the state.

The driveway, parking lot, and walkways, will be plowed and sanded. Sand and shovels are located along the drives and walks for any additional use on stubborn icy spots. Help yourselves during icy weather. Please WALK, PARK, AND DRIVE CONSCIOUSLY.

WYC HOLIDAY POLICY

WYC closes for three holidays per year, Thanksgiving, Christmas & New Year's Day. Classes will be held on all other scheduled dates. Other closures may happen at the discretion of the instructor with the agreement of class participants. In such cases, the instructor and class decide on a mutually agreeable date for make up.
